Falls, MN---The Street Wizards
Car Club of Thief River Falls, Minnesota has finalized the
schedule for their 8th Annual Cruise-In Car Show to be held the weekend
of Friday July 31st- Saturday August 1st. The event will include
a free Friday evening "Trivia Cruise" for any special interest
vehicles starting and ending at the Best Western Inn from 6:00-9:00 PM
(show pre-registration will also be available for those that are
arriving Friday). Saturday's Car Show events will be held at the Floyd
B. Olson "Gazebo" Park in downtown Thief River Falls. Schedule starts
with Registration at 9:00 AM, the show runs from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM,
with the Awards presentation to follow. More classes and specialty
awards have been added for this year. Entry fee remains at $10.00 per
vehicle and entrants receive a "Goodie Bag" and are eligible for many
door prizes. Spectator admission for the car show is FREE! The event is
open to all special interest vehicles including but not limited to
Antique, Collector, Classic, Custom, Convertible, Street Rod,
Musclecar, Pickups, etc.
The car related events are all part of the TRF "Block Party" weekend
events which start with a family-rated outdoor "movie-in-the-park" on
Thursday evening.... Friday will feature Merchant Crazy Days from 7:00
AM - 5:30 PM, a downtown "Block Party" with concessions and other
activities from 6:00- midnight, along with a Street Dance featuring
"Billy Dee and the Crystals" from 8:00-12:00 PM. Cost for the dance is
$5 per person.
