Hello Everyone,
Having sold my present warehouse/storage building I have contracted with George Masters to conduct an auction sale of memorabilia that I have collected over the years. The sale will begin at noon on Friday June 4th, 2010 during the 18th Annual Devils Run. A web site will be setup with photos and other information concerning the sale, I will forward that information to you later.
(Please note: Even though I am selling my memorabilia I still plan to continue to buy, sell and consign collector cars. I do not have to move from my present location until July 1st, 2010 and can lease it back if I chose. The plan is a new location with better visibility, better lighting, and more convenient access to the vehicles).
The 2010 Devils Run Collector Car Auction will also be conducted by George Masters and will be limited to 100 cars. The auction will be promoted at car shows, on billboards, through the media and on the internet so list early for maximum exposure. Further information will soon be available at the web site, in the meantime you can contact George at gem@min.midco.net or 701-240-6771
We will again be doing the Rolling Thunder Dinner Cruise on Thursday June 3rd kicking off the 18th Annual Devils Run. The Spirit Lake Casino will host the Muscle Car Show on Friday afternoon, Friday evening we will do the Burnouts, Flame Throwing, Muffler Rapping and Balance Beam. Saturday will be the Parade in the morning followed by the Collector Car Auction and Steak Fry. Sunday is the Show & Shine in Roosevelt Park with awards at 2:00 and closing ceremony at 2:30 PM.
We have live entertainment lined up for Saturday Afternoon, Saturday Evening and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Included with your Devils Run registration is meals for two on Friday at noon, Friday evening, Saturday noon, Saturday evening and Sunday AM.
This is only a rough outline of what is going to happen at the 18th Annual Devils Run. We will have self contained camper and motor home spots available real close to the park on a first come basis. Get your registration in early to save and reserve your rooms by going to:
http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/events/devils_run.html the 2009 schedule which should be close to the 2010 schedule.
Best regards,
Stan

THINK SPRING!!!
Cars are still selling, this past week I sold one in Poland, one in Malibu and one up in Saskatchewan. I am still taking consignments and have room to display about 6 more at this time.
I know a lot of you are already planning on participating in Devils Run by the number of you that are already pre-registered. I expect this coming Devils Run will be the largest ever, we have some new and exciting entertainment booked and other plans in the works.
George Masters has taken over the Collector Car Auction and will be promoting that through the indoor cars shows and billboard advertising. He will be limiting the sale to 100 vehicles so get yours consigned early for maximum exposure. He will also be conducting the First Annual Memorabilia Auction on Friday June 4th during Devils Run.
You can get your 2010 Devils Run Registration Form at http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/events/2010/2010EntryForm.pdf

Happy Holidays,

Hello Everyone,

Wow, it sure is cold outside!!! It makes us want to stay close to a warm fire and dream about Spring and Devils Run.

Are you looking for Christmas present ideas? How about a Devils Run paid entry? You can download a form at http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/events/2010/2010EntryForm.pdf
    or
How about a Devils Run Jacket, Cap, Shirt, or something with a picture of their car from Creative Impressions. You can check them out at http://www.creativeimps.com/  They have a lot of ideas relating to Devils Run clothing or if you like they also have hunting, fishing and golfing items.
    or
How about scheduling your special interest vehicle for repairs, updates or maintenance with Jamie at Black Magic Rod & Custom 701-662-1765 before the spring rush. You know it will be here soon :)

A lot of cars are going overseas, I am not sure if this is good? I had a car advertised for sale at $12,900. and had a few inquiries but no sale, put it on eBay and it got bids to $7,500. I was contacted by a few wanting the car for around $9,000. Through the internet I sold the car for $12,000. in Poland, the buyer told me he would have $20,000. into it with freight and taxes. The good thing is that the car sold but the sad thing is that we will never see that car again, it is gone!!!

I have sold cars in Australia, Japan, Balta, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and of course around the U.S. and Canada. Right now I am working with two different people in Norway and one in Australia. I sent a car to California yesterday by transport and he told me that most cars he picks up around the U.S. are going overseas. It seems that the original, or restored to original larger collector cars are the ones selling overseas.

Happy Holidays,
Stan
